THE MOST POWERFUL ENGINE EVER JOINS THE FERRARI SPORTING TRADITION
In the Ferrari lineage, the 2-seater mid-rear engine berlinettas certainly hold a prominent place. The new F8 Spider continues the tradition with unique innovations and features, such as the new V8 engine: quite simply the most powerful one ever!
720 hp and a (record-breaking!) specific power output of 185 hp/l mark a new limit reached by these engines. Innovations in engine design, derived from F1 experience, allow the 720 hp to be delivered at 8,000 rpm. The new exhaust layout gives the V8's roar a unique "voice."
The supersport design provides aerodynamics capable of improving performance by 10% compared to the 488 Spider.
Thanks to experience gained in GT championships, top-level aerodynamic solutions are at the service of every type of driver.
The design is certainly worthy of the noble lineage of Ferrari 2-seater berlinettas:
The rear hood is designed with a "MANTA" (T-shaped) theme, where the rear deck, starting from the rear window, disappears under the spoiler.
The front profile is strongly characterized by horizontal, fully developed LED headlights.
The interior follows the "cockpit" design, embellished with aluminum and carbon fiber inserts.
We are looking at a celebration of Ferrari excellence in every aspect. A tribute to and an innovation upon Maranello's great sporting tradition.
